On June 21st, URC members Amie Booth and Mark Wood will be taking off from the base of Mount Snowdon (UK) and over the next 8 days, cover 400+ miles on their way to mount Scafell Pike (Wales) and mount Ben Nevis (Scotland), basically attempting to run the 3 Peaks Challenge entirely on foot!
Why you ask? Well, as Mark says “Mainly, because we’re not too bright.” But more importantly, they’re using the run as a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s largest breast cancer charity.
That said, they could use your help to make this run a success. If you’d like to run a mile or two with them, know of places we can crash for a few hours (if you are in UK), want to help spread the word, or can help out financially at their donation site they’d really appreciate it.
